Its investment objective is to invest, on a long-term basis, in a portfolio of income-producing real estate primarily used for retail purposes and located primarily in Malaysia with the view to providing unitholders with long-term and sustainable distribution of income and potential capital growth. CMMT is managed by CapitaMalls Malaysia REIT Management Sdn Bhd. The properties in the portfolio of CMMT are located in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, which include Gurney Plaza, Sungei Wang Plaza Property and The Mines (Subject Properties). As of April 30, 2010, the Subject Properties had more than 1,000 leases.
