MKH BERHAD is a Malaysia-based investment holding company engaged in building and other management services. Its operations are carried out in seven business segments: property development and construction, hotel and property investment; farming, food processing and retail, trading, manufacturing, plantation, and investment holding. Other management services include recreational club operation, money lending and provision of insurance broking services. On April 12, 2010, Metro acquired the remaining 20% of the issued and paid up capital of Makin Jernih Sdn. Bhd. (MJSB) making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. On December 17, 2010, Metro incorporated a new subsidiary, PT Nusantara Makmur Jaya under the Laws of the Republic of Indonesia. As of December 30, 2010, the Company’s major shareholder was Chen Choy & Sons Realty Sdn Bhd which held a 25.22% stake in the Company.
