HOCK SENG LEE BERHAD is a Malaysia-based company engaged in marine engineering, civil engineering and construction. It undertakes dredging, land reclamation and earthworks, road and bridge construction, coastal protection works, drainage, water reticulation and specialized tunnelling, as well as other infrastructure and building works. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Hock Seng Lee Construction Sendirian Berhad, is involved in property development and building construction. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company completed eight projects, including road works in Telaga Air and Paloh, flood mitigation works in Miri, a wastewater treatment plant in Tanjung Manis, earthworks in Kuching, the infrastructure and building works for Alam Sanctuary and a staff housing project for a government agency, among others. On September 24, 2009, the Company subscribed for 80% of the issued and paid-up share capital of Bright Trechless Engineering Sdn. Bhd.
